Good morning everyone.
I am translating the mod protectors into the Spanish language, encountering a spelling problem during transcription and adaptation to the language.
The words that use "accentuation" and the character "Ñ", are not displayed correctly in the game and I don't know how to code them in the text for their correct appreciation.
- TRADUCCIÓN INCORRECTA
[AADR_Lin1] DRAGON DE FUEGO
For now I had to remove all the accents and replace the "Ñ" with "N" to continue testing the changes in the game directly.
I will be very grateful if you add an example of how it should be resolved.
I also need to know what text encoding I should use for the translation files, since, although I am using the original files of the protectors, even so the Notepad ++ has warned me of an incorrect encoding when using the file comparison view.
I also need to know if the following white spaces, to the chains enclosed in square brackets, are intentional or irrelevant:
Since I have found some lines that have longer intermediate spaces and I don't know if this should be so, due to programming or format issues.
Translation programs used:
Notepad ++
Winmerge
Thanks you very much for your helpSCREENSHOTS
