In regards to actually playing the protectors

I have installed everything as all the different forum posts have instructed, but for some reason when i try to play it, i get this error message:

"File error: Assets\Powerups.xcr"

I am not sure what this is trying to tell me, as the file is in the folder where it belongs.

I have tried removing the file from the folder, every compatibility mode available, starting the game with permissions, without...honestly im just lost as to what i need to do.

Please send help!!!

I suspect that either the download or install was corrupted. Try downloading 0.8.8 and the patches and installing them again, hopefully that should solve it.
