PATCH 0.8.8 PROBLEM

I have problem after installing patch 0.8.8 , i played 0.8.7 alot and always liked fast and very fast game speed , after installing 0.8.8 game cant run faster than normal so only 3 options are available , very slow,slow and normal , whenever i choose fast or very fast it just seems to be normal still (i hate such slow game ) any help please .

To change game speed you can press the + or - keys. A text display in the middle of the screen will confirm the game speed change. The fastest possible game speed is "Very Fast".
