I can do that only from the bios, so everytime i need a different number of core i should restart the pc...it's frustrating...

You can do it from task manager on windows 10.

I use windows 7, havent tried to disable core yet, because in this periodo im doing a lot of video rendering and i need the CPU at max.

After much investigation, I have concluded that this crash happens when you have low graphical settings set in game. Just go to options-> graphics and set everything to max (including lighting!). This will bypass the crashes.
