[FIXED] Compatibility mode and exit problems

This game won't work on my pc without Winxp Compatibility set.  Also, I cannot change resolution past 1024 x 768.  And whenever I go to exit game I get a Windows error: "The Protectors has stopped working."  Since having the source code, are these planned for fixing?

Love Warlords games but it sucks there's no reliable way to play any of them nicely on modern systems.  

Flexible resolution is being worked on as we speak. The other two bugs we only hope to fix them in the far future.

I largely believe the "crash" upon exit is related to the videos. A quick test to prove or disprove this would be to temporary disable the intro and the menu video player. Then load up the game and immediately close it.

That is incorrect, Kharn. At least deleting the video folder does not fix it. We should debate this more in our private corners to rule out the bug.

I don't have crash on exit in protectors, got it running on both windows 10 64 bit and windows 7 64 bit. Maybe if he can try my guide and see if the crashes go away.
