Alchemy Skill

I noticed if one chooses the Alchemy Class, there can be no more points assigned to it. For example, max is 5 if used with the Empire Race. I suspect this is not the only Class choice that works like this. Just wondering if this is correct or I am missing something. Thank you.
BTW, this is an outstanding redo of the original game.

If it is a spell skill, then it is leveled up in the spells tab (near perks). Otherwise, all skills are capped to hero level, so if you are say level 6 you cannot have more than 6 points in a skill.

Thanks for the quick response. I am aware of the points per level requirements; however, when I use the "temporary hero" mode, I notice that the Alchemy Skill cannot be leveled up. I have not noticed this to be the case with other Skills with the exception of the Arcane Skill. Again, thank you for any response.

Like I said, magic skills (like Alchemy) are leveled up via the spells tab, not the skills one.
