| Is there a tool about compatible with Protectors to edit a hero? My specific purpose is to invent a few new classes of my own. I find customising a hero skill set to be extremely enjoyable and opens up a new part of the game for me finding out which skills can combo well with others. Also it pains me to see wasted skills such as the Fey Bard having the skills "Leadership" and "Fey Lord", yay for 2+ morale for the Fey!
I've been using DalGurak's Hero editor which works great but that seems to mess up tin/bronze/ironman modes which I find adds a whole new level of game play for the hero.

Cheers.

| Unfortunately there aren't any working hero editors for the Protectors (no idea if there will be one in the future either).
Leadership and racial morale skills aren't useless together as skills are capped to the hero's level.

I see, I'll be keeping an eye out for one, but for now I guess the one i have is fine. As for the skills, I'd much rather take a spell sphere (time magic!), warding or +exp units since morale only does so much.

| Are you kidding? I consider morale over-powered to be honest. I even had to reduce the morale boost warlords and knight lords gave (from +2 to +1) to nerf it a little bit. Just stack 10 of these units (+10 morale) and see how crazy efficient your units are! The attack speed is huge! | |

I do totally agree and I know it's an extremely strong stat. I used to run a Barb Cheiften who specialised in charisma leadership, then a warlord spam, great fun supporting the troops. I just find two of the same stat pretty boring and I think a spell sphere would be much stronger then a +1 morale stat.
