| No, but you can certainly start a French translation project yourself and share it with the community. Currently, TPC is only available in English, Spanish and Portuguese I think? They all were made by the community. | |

| Okay, thank you. I'm already pretty busy with a translation for the game Morrowind (Tamriel Rebuilt), so I can maybe try to translate TPC later. What types of files must be edited for translation, TXT is that it? What other files to be translated, for the dialogues of the campaign, for example? Thank you. |

| They are all text files and can be edited with Notepad, but their suffix differs in order for the game to recognize what is what. You have the .nis files in the CampaignScenario folder for the campaign dialogues, and the English folder for the main game strings (buttons, tool-tips, items etc.) | |

| It's okay, I launched into the TPC translation. If you want to create a topic "French Version" below "Brazilian version" as you want. I'll post my messages in it. I have already started to translate the XCIStrings.txt file. I already translated half of the file, using the official French translation WB3.
A small question: Can I use Notepad ++ to translate .nis file ? |

| I don't know, I suppose so. Just save it as a .nis file and everything should be ok. Careful when using the " symbol, some apps (like MSWord) have weird symbol replacements that are not read by the game (in the case of MSWord, the " is a little more curved at the edge).

Are you the one translator that was active on the "Confrérie des traducteurs" around the same time? Both of you are sharing the same interest for TR... If not, you could approach him so that both of you don't work independently.
If you want, I could provide you with all the translated files for vanilla v1.03.25 (but one). The old spreadsheet that you find on the Internet is very, very incomplete, and the only French version I'm aware of is for vanilla v1.03.23, and it let the Campaign.xcr and a few other files untranslated. | |
