Campaign issue

I just downloaded the newest version of The Protectors. I decided to try the campaign first. It starts me with the only selectable location as the Wastes. I try both right clicking and left clicking on the Wastes but nothing happens. There are not other visible locations on the map and I tried clicking around the map anyways but no matter what I try nothing happens. I tried making both an Undead hero and a Fay hero but it happened with both.

Am I doing something wrong, or is the campaign not a working feature yet?

The campaign is a WIP, but the first part is playable. I recommend resetting the campaign (menu-> options->reset)
