[SOLVED] C. Campaign - Deamons + The Iron Fortress

I crated a hero with faction "The Iron Fortress" (+6 resistance/armor to buildings)
The campaign pre-selects (as for new battles, so for the default research the first faction of Daemons - not a but, but as a player I had to be cautious, not to spend 100 gold for fortress research I don't want)

So I got Fortress lvl2 research completed and I am at 63% of level 3 research (The Iron Fortress), while the first faction research is 'paused'.

Here comes the actual glitch:
While in a map (in battle) I was actually able to upgrade my fortress (Furnance) to lvl5, despite my campaign research is far from it.

Some campaign maps overrule the research. Does this happen to all your matches or just some?

Just some, so it makes then sense, according the rule you mentioned. Thank you
