| I have a friend who tried to play this mod but whenever he tries to start any map (campaign, chapter, skirmish etc.) the game just crashes right away. He did the compatibility stuff, can support 800x600 and everything and on top of it the original wbc3 game works just fine for him.  | |

| Did he install this mod in a seperate directory like C:\The Protectors ? | |

| No, that's how the game should be installed. Perhaps a Direct Play issue? | |

| Well, he tried downloading the directx updates that had directplay in them, didnt work.
What would this mod require specifically that the original game doesnt? | |
