[FIXED] Random crash when playing with/against barbarians

Game is crashing randomly in original campaign scenarios, in The Protectors campaign everything is ok.

This is something we are looking on. How many missions did you play?

Just few first (demon rift, treasure hunting and ssrathi village raid), sometimes game crashing after 10 sec and sometimes after 20 minutes.

And first mission looks like can't be finished, when i reach elven tower and start dialogue with elf nothing happens and i must use cheat to pass this first mission.

Quick question: what race are you playing?

Barbarian, Shaman class.

Yeah - there is indeed something odd with the Barbarian race.

I think it's caused by the Barbarian unit. We have been trying to fix this bug for quite some time now.

For me looks like most crashes happens when Barbarian units are near enemy or allied towers.

Now i have saved game which crashing 2-3 sec after loading, my troops attacking tower in this time and if i stop them from attacking game dont crashes.

This has been fixed - it was caused by a corrupted image file for the Rider that made the game crash upon his death.
Now then, it begs the question of whether a hot-fix should be issued to correct this lone problem or just wait it out till the next patch. By rights, the hot-fix shouldn't need to be anything more than just a replacement Barbarians.XCR

It was also caused by the Ice Armor spell, something barbarian heroes usually cast. Topic closed.
